Monferrato is a suggestion of landscapes with glimpses of incomparable beauty, to the vision of infinity that can also be breathed with the eyes, looking at the view from a terrace of some Monferrato towns. The undisputed queen of Monferrato is the vineyard, changing colours during the seasons: from the pale green of spring to the most intense and dark green of summer to the purple triumphs of autumn.

During the session held in Qatar in June 2014, the Unesco Committee announced that the wine-growing landscapes of Piedmont have become part of the restricted list of sites worthy of the title of world heritage.
