On the occasion of Grignolino il Nobile Ribelle, the Monferace Association is offering a masterclass dedicated to industry professionals to explore the value of Grignolino Monferace and its role in contemporary catering.
Grignolino Monferace – Territory, Identity, and Longevity is a technical meeting aimed at restaurateurs, sommeliers, and wine professionals, designed to explore the potential of a long-aging Grignolino within the wine list and gastronomic offering.
The masterclass will be led by Davide Canina (Wine Specialist) and Pierluigi Bianco (AIS Sommelier and Taster), together with oenologist Mario Ronco, vice president of the Monferace Association, with the participation of Francesco Palumbo, Maître of the Locanda Sant’Uffizio.
Through a blind tasting of various Monferace vintages, we will explore the winemaking methods, the characteristics of the different terroirs, the grape variety’s evolutionary potential, and the opportunities for its inclusion in high-end restaurants.
At the end of the meeting, a food and wine pairing will be offered by Ristorante Centrale in Moncalvo, highlighting Monferace’s versatility in its dialogue with contemporary cuisine.
Participation is reserved for industry professionals and is subject to confirmation of accreditation, subject to availability. To register, please contact us at:
